To help support families and bring low-attending pupils back to school, iMlango provides a small amount of money to families to help overcome the economic barriers that keep girls away from school. Families can purchase food, goods and other school-related items, such as uniform, from local merchants in the community. iMlango works with the schools and parents to help establish back to school strategies, and student attendance data is used to monitor the effectiveness of the stipend.
